- 1.5 cups Maida
- Pinch Salt
- As required Water
- 1/2 tsp Oil
- For Stuffing:
- 1tsp Ginger
- 1 tsp Garlic
- 1 cup cabbage(Chopped)
- 1/2 cup Carrot (grated)
- 1 tsp Green chillies (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- As per taste salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 tsp Coriander leaves(chopped)
Instructions to make to make Veg Momos
- Method to prepare dough - In a mixing bowl add all purpose flour/maida,salt and make it into a soft dough by using enough amount of water.Add oil and knead for 5 mints, close the lid keep aside
- For stuffing -To a pan,add oil followed by ginger,garlic and green chillies.Saute for a minute.Now add cabbage,carrot,salt and pepper powder.Saute it well till raw smell goes.Add coriander leaves and close the lid till it Cooks completely.
- Method to make momos - *Take small amount of dough,roll it into thin sheet using rolling pin. *Take 2tsp of stuffing and placed into a center of the sheet. *Start pleeting the half of the sheet and leave the remaining plain. *Now take a round bottom vessel with water,place the Momos into Momo steamer or idli stand. *Close the lid and Now cook for 10-15 mints. *Enjoy the Momos with this breezing monsoon winds with some momos chutney or tomato ketchup.
