- Into this add in both the dal and stir and saute until they turn lightly golden brown.
- Now it's time to saute onions till they turn light pink.
- Next add in the capsicum and saute well.
- Add pepper, turmeric and salt. Stir well. You can adjust the proportion of pepper as per your taste.
- Saute all the ingredients well on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
- Now put the halved Idlis into this and give a nice mix. Saute and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pepper Idli fry is ready. Serve it as a healthy breakfast or pack it for a stomach filling lunch.
